Do\u011fan konu\u015fmas\u0131nda, T\u00fcrk milletinin tarih boyunca ba\u011f\u0131ms\u0131zl\u0131\u011fa \u00f6nem veren, y\u00fczden fazla devlet kurmu\u015f bir millet oldu\u011funu vurgulayarak, \u201cTarihimizin en \u00f6nemli k\u0131r\u0131lma noktalar\u0131ndan biri, Birinci D\u00fcnya Sava\u015f\u0131\u2019n\u0131n ard\u0131ndan 1919-1922 y\u0131llar\u0131 aras\u0131nda verilen b\u00fcy\u00fck m\u00fccadelenin sonunda kurulan T\u00fcrkiye Cumhuriyeti\u2019dir. Cumhuriyetimizin 103. kurulu\u015f y\u0131ld\u00f6n\u00fcm\u00fcn\u00fc kutluyor, panelimizin hay\u0131rl\u0131 ge\u00e7mesini diliyorum.\u201d dedi.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Panelin moderat\u00f6rl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcn\u00fc \u0130nsan ve Toplum Bilimleri Fak\u00fcltesi Tarih B\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fc \u00d6\u011fretim \u00dcyesi Prof. Dr. Cengiz \u015eavk\u0131l\u0131 \u00fcstlendi. Prof. Dr. \u015eavk\u0131l\u0131 konu\u015fmas\u0131nda Cumhuriyet kutlamalar\u0131n\u0131n 1924 y\u0131l\u0131ndan itibaren yap\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 hat\u0131rlatarak, \u201cAziz \u015fehitlerimizi ve kahraman gazilerimizi rahmet, minnet ve \u015f\u00fckranla an\u0131yorum. Cumhuriyet, millet egemenli\u011fi ve demokrasiyle anlam kazan\u0131r; demokrasi olmadan Cumhuriyetten s\u00f6z edilemez.\u201d ifadelerini kulland\u0131.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Panelin ilk konu\u015fmac\u0131s\u0131, Tarih B\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fc \u00d6\u011fretim \u00dcyesi Do\u00e7. Dr. T\u00fclay Ayd\u0131n, \u201cCumhuriyet: Bir Y\u00fczy\u0131l\u0131n Vicdan\u0131\u201d ba\u015fl\u0131kl\u0131 sunumunda, Cumhuriyetin vicdan metaforu i\u00e7inde temellendi\u011fini belirtti. E\u015fitlik, adalet ve \u00f6zg\u00fcrl\u00fck kavramlar\u0131na dikkat \u00e7ekerek, Cumhuriyetin \u00f6z\u00fcnde bu \u00fc\u00e7 ilkenin bulundu\u011funu s\u00f6yledi. Ayd\u0131n, \u201cAnadolu\u2019nun i\u015fgal y\u0131llar\u0131nda ve ard\u0131ndan kazan\u0131lan zaferde, toplumun \u00f6zlemi adil, e\u015fit ve \u00f6zg\u00fcr bir y\u00f6netimdi. Cumhuriyet, i\u015fte bu aray\u0131\u015f\u0131n ete kemi\u011fe b\u00fcr\u00fcnm\u00fc\u015f halidir.\u201d dedi. Ayr\u0131ca Osmanl\u0131\u2019n\u0131n son d\u00f6neminde uygulanan me\u015frutiyet y\u00f6netimi ile Cumhuriyet aras\u0131ndaki farklara de\u011finerek, \u201cCumhuriyet reformlar\u0131 toplumsal tabandan y\u00fckselmi\u015ftir, oysa Osmanl\u0131 reformlar\u0131 merkezden halka do\u011fru inmi\u015ftir.\u201d ifadelerini kulland\u0131.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Panelin ikinci konu\u015fmac\u0131s\u0131 Do\u00e7. Dr. M. Edip \u00c7elik ise \u201cAtat\u00fcrk\u2019te Cumhuriyet Fikri\u201d ba\u015fl\u0131kl\u0131 sunumunda Cumhuriyetin anlam\u0131na de\u011finerek, \u201cEgemenlik kay\u0131ts\u0131z \u015farts\u0131z milletindir. Cumhuriyet, belli bir z\u00fcmrenin de\u011fil halk\u0131n iradesidir. Demokrasiyle birlikte ya\u015far, onunla g\u00fc\u00e7lenir.\u201d dedi. \u00c7elik, Cumhuriyetin de\u011ferini en iyi anlaman\u0131n yolunun \u00e7evremizdeki co\u011frafyaya bakmaktan ge\u00e7ti\u011fini belirterek, \u201cCumhuriyetin ya\u015famas\u0131, gen\u00e7 nesillerin adalete, bilgiye ve e\u015fitli\u011fe sahip \u00e7\u0131kmas\u0131yla m\u00fcmk\u00fcnd\u00fcr.
